I had some major concerns and because emptybones seemed so confident, I pm'd him and asked him what he thought. He sent me the following pm and so I called the number myself. Here is what emptybones sent me:

"Here is lawyers number.. Gerald 514 591 3666. He is a very nice guy. Tell him you got number from Chicago... That is were I got it from. He told me merger was done as stated and follow up p/r coming... Call him 1st thing in a.m"

How am I pressing hard? Let me do some DD for you. Google this number. 514 591 3666. Notice all the scams it's connected to?
