Otherwise, why would someone pay well over market price for such a large sum ?
In the past, John has allowed private investors in for a 15-20% discount to market price. So this purchase does not make sense, unless this person is gaining something else too.
The purchase should have absolutely been PR'ed. It was a very positive event. If a VOD update gets press, a 3 million dollar purchase should also be addressed. The first time we saw it was in the filing.
It would have been a nice filler when we went 5 weeks without any news. And how about an e-golf update ? What ever happened with that?
Who in the world would make such a large purchase well over market price unless they knew something else would be gained ?
Many PR's leave the details up to our imagination. John could have done the same with this positive purchase, imo. He rarely goes into detail about terms of a deal. So just a press release about the purchase could only help with supporting the stock.
Think about it, this guy is down 55.3 % on the purchase. Down 1.65 MILLION DOLLARS. Think this guy reads I-Hub ? haha.
