I would think if this kicks off REDG should make 2 print runs. One for TRU and another for the comic stores. This is done all the time with magazines and with TRU doing the shipping it's a no brainier.
A company in Philadelphia doesn't want to pay for an ad in LA. Same with REDG, A kids car seat company doesn't want an ad in a comic book store. And you get more bang for the buck. As for money coming in, We have to have a track record but I think the big guys would understand how big this would be, be professional, show the numbers of readers. Advertisers love to see as many people read the ads as possible. For us, the kids would read it, the dad would check it out and the mom would be in there too. If the kids bring it to school, add 5 to 10 more reading the ad. A great way to check it out how many readers there are would be to put in a contest($500 TRU shopping spree) and fill out the demographics of the household and key in everything after that. With that information you can target more ads and better ad placement. And get the higher amounts for the ads. Really, this is big. And just starting out it's new and they could play around with it and really make a home run with the information.
All print magazines and papers make the money through ads, same with web sites and TV. Key in on your audience, and you win big. REDG can do better then a million a week with targeting.
And to top it off, the kids would want the next in the series. WINNER,

We are going for a ride, hang on brother.
