Every critic is good to consider, but truths will prevail in the end. The Davinci system has more arms... To effectively use these arms you need an assistant or second surgeon. Where I work it is usually the surgeons favorite certified first assist. The SPORT has two articulating arms and a port for a straight stick or retractor. It is meant for solo surgery. However if it is necessary to have an assistant, one can still come in and manually maneuver the 3rd stick ....ORrrrrrrr, be using a 2nd SPORT bellied up to the OR table for still almost half the cost!!! With a second one in place you have the ability to do anything the Davinci can do with both surgeons having the view. That could effectively take away the 4 video towers in the room that we currently have for each system. Small, Portable, Operating, Robot Tandem = another SPORT use.
