A good investor does not get 100% of his predictions right.
Not 90%
Not 80%
Not 70%
Not 40%

About 25% accuracy on predictions and 60% profitable trades for most investors.

The higher the number of predictions, the lower the % accuracy can be and an investor can still be successful.

This is why I laugh when people say that my predictions are usually wrong.
Duh.
Try making predictions on a daily basis and let's see how accurate you are with them.

Making predictions on a daily basis allows me to generate a greater number of hypotheses, which allows me to develop a more nuanced view of a stock.

Of course I have negative thoughts about the stocks I invest in -- I just simply choose not to post them.

So maybe this provides some more insight into my posting style.

Balance out the bashers.
Improve my understanding of a stock.
Increase the probability of being a successful investor.

This method works for me so I see no reason to change it.

It probably doesn't work for most people, but that's not my problem.
