I talked with a sharp telco person yesterday.
I asked him about the cost of fiberoptics. He indicated that if telcos get commitments, they'll spend the money to lay fiberoptics. This was after I tried to emphasize the cost-effectiveness of NVEI's tech compared to fiberoptics. I didn't know enough to take it from there as to if and how Emgarq could possibly enhance fiberoptics.
From what I gathered, he's concerned that NVEI might get surpassed if they don't get moving in their quest to develop a viable product.
He seemed to wonder if NVEI has enough engineering personel on hand.
