It says in the article that the fire resistant materials stopped the blaze spreading. I don't see any "pink wood" in any of those pictures.

Another article being manipulated to suit the bears purposes IMO. Yet, the article says the fire resistant materials did their job.

Jayson Doyscher with the Calgary Fire Department said — in addition to dozens of firefighters — fire resistant materials mandated by new building regulations are being credited for stopping the spread of the blaze.
