And who is paying for all of that? I doubt either company has anything close to that kind of money.

I would guess 100,000 30 second spots depending on the time slot would hit around $1.5-$2M. The ad insertion technology is where the residual revenues are generated. The sw support cost 20-30% of retail cost of the software package, which in my experience would cost $750K up to $2M depending on the scale of the deployment, so (1) customer would be paying $250K a year for support on a $1M system at 25%. Ad insertion is very hot, especially with the TV To Go market starting to grow. I expect we will see a week of accumulation before the new ticker hits. It's all speculation.
