dividends as they do interest.">> at this point there is little that will stimulate capex. Most sectors have excess cap and some have a huge amount. No one is going to buy new machinery, IT components, or build factorys when they have those items in excess now. They only spending for some time will be on required items that are no longer worth fixing and items that can increase productivity and/or reduce costs. AG may talk like he has ammo left but he is just like Visa sending applications to Gates everyday. Gates is about as interested in a 0% Visa card as mfg is in new equip. Any additional deductions to business would go to earnings (which would be nice) but even Gates may spend (or donate for others to spend) the divs recd.
