Sales Everywhere this Weekend - Deflation Here?

Wow, I took a look at the new car ads in this weekend's paper and I couldn't believe the discounts! 25 - 40% off MSRP on 2003 cars from GM, Mazda, Ford, etc. Even some Volvo's are going on sale pretty big from what I've seen in the past 6 months. I know they're trying to make room for the 2004 models but they must have tons of 2003 inventory to move.

It seems like everything is on sale everywhere.
