Smcluke, why in the world would you sell now? With that many shares and knowing the company is in the middle of negotiations it won't make any sense. If news isn't what some anticipate, then it's not the end of the stock. IMHO

So, it goes down, it's happened before and it will rise again, IMHO. But, you can do what you want.
