It's my guess that most of the site's traffic is in the evening, not during the day. Also, its my guess that most people aren't sitting at work streaming Gander TV. The site design stream music from night time venues. Most likely this happens at night. In my opinion it would be best to do upgrades when site traffic is low. I can tell that you are tech savvy but you seem like most techies I know, they're extremely intelligent but lack everyday common sense.
