Among other things. I think tax benefits, costs of inc. are pretty similar. You used to be able to use a purchased address in NV as the "corp. address" but I think that's become more difficult if not prohibited.
Why keep your name private? Say you form an LLC to buy property but don't want anyone to find your address, used be celebrities but not just them, numerous reasons. To give one example.
Otherwise anyone could go to the County tax rolls and find out where your fave celeb lives; property tax records ID who owns it. As just one example. Others have reasons for privacy. Maybe divorce cases.
Is there a good reason for a publicly traded co. to go to DE for privacy reasons? Might that raise concerns among shareholders?
Not necessarily but if they moved from NV it's very interesting.
