Walgreens is recasting numbers regarding the 2016 timeline for completing the A-B purchase. No where in any of Wasson's comments does it say the change is a downward revision.

I believe that some of the current uncertainty involves a re-review of completing the 55% transaction and whether conflict over inversion strategy may lead Pessina/KKR into buying back the 45% and going it alone. This would put Walgreens in a favorable position to seek other M&A opportunities that would not create conflict with CMS and the US government over redomiciling.
