My read on the departure of the New Business Development VP is that Titan's strategy has changed and they will not be hiring their own sales and marketing teams, thus they don't need this position. IMO they will most likely sign a sales/marketing agreement with one of the big players that will give them a very quick start up when the product is ready for commercialization. The other obvious road is a buyout is in the works, which would again indicate that they don't need a VP of NBD.
