Jugs, not sure if you are trying to discourage us retail investors, or trying to educate us? However, what you say is partially true but by default we should have the common knowledge how outstanding, float, restricted and gifted shares work, right? What you say makes partial sense, but is pointless in my personal opinion. Any particular amount of shares in the float is what truly matters to you/us investors. Shares bought or sold, past, present and future it all comes from the same float. Injected shares in the market would be dilution and that is not good but we would be updated in the filings (hint, hint). What should be clear is the float of shares is what really matters. Nothing more and nothing less. People keep talking about "Market Makers this and Market Makers that". Forget about the market makers when we all know they are brokers buying and selling (long and short) for profits at fractions of pennies, period! You already know that so what difference does it make where the shares are coming from. What dictates and moves the price is the demand, and shares in the float is what matters. So, to all those retail investors, keep your eyes peeled for the float and not the jibberish. The trend is your friend, long or short.
