You realize all the shorts have been making money right? They aren't covering and losing money. They are covering and collecting profits. You weren't pumping past couple weeks when the stock was tanking and all the shorts were cleaning up. Aapl has a good day and everybody comes flying out saying its going to 200. I'm long aapl but that doesn't mean you cant play the downtrends with puts.
