ALSO if any product needs to be produced they might do what many companies do, which is have the product made by a pre-fabricator.
I guess you've never heard of Outsourcing to local fabricators?
(eg) A friend owns a couple of companies and most of his products and business is handled over the phone ...When he gets an order He call's one company to purchase parts and have it assembled someplace else.
Many companies do this so (in early stages) and they don't need to buy the machines for production of the product.
This is done by many companies that want to sell "U.S.A. made" and/or "Made in China" products.
