I think the cost of barite is correct at $300 per ton, but that is likely for offshore delivery

More like $200-220 per ton at the wellhead on land

Nevertheless, it is likely that DDCC cost per ton is only about $80-85, leaving plenty of room for profit

When they have their New Orleans plant up and running they will be ideally located to both receive shipments of barite from Central America and elsewhere, and also, after it is processed, to ship it by train to clients in Transprop containers or by barge to offshore drilling rigs in the Gulf

Clock is ticking now, the first orser HAS to be getting closer to arriving

After that, you will be looking at .016 far far back in the rear view mirror
