Mlsoft--- I assume you meant MSFT would not see 50 pre-split? When they pulled that rediculous split I almost sold the last of my position. Happily I sold 80% of it from 120 down but kept some for "sentimental" reasons. After fifteen years I just couldn't bring myself to totally break off the relationship. Relationships carry baggage, some not so good.>>G<< I have never seen a deperation split work with any stock. Granted. the markets are high and not supported by anything fundamental that I can see but the market is not a logical or rational beast, hence insane rallies materialize. The market ultimately does what logic would dictate but, as I am sure you are fully aware, sometimes it takes months or years.
MSFT's performance lately tells me that there is something wrong with the company specifically, in spite of where the market should or should not be. Others are vastly more rich in valuation. JMO though.
