SEC enforcement will take care of any civil suit litigation demanding disgorgements (to be distributed back to injured investors)...plus other penalties...and US attorney's will prosecute any criminal charges

Yes, I know how that goes. I know of one stock that the SEC took care of the civil litigation and the judge awarded a HUGE sum of money.. even more than the SEC asked for. They never collected a penny, because the SEC didn't freeze the assets and gave the defendants plenty of time to hide their money. They haven't done anything to try to find the assets either (they don't have the manpower). The shareholders have spent countless hours finding the assets and the company attorney has been filing suits to get the assets back, in hopes to have money to do an acquisition and relist. They were even able to get 200K that one of the defendants had sent to retain an attorney! It's actually amazing what a bunch of pissed off shareholders can do collectively. LOL

The DOJ is prosecuting them though, and they've gone all over the world to extradite them back to the states. But that doesn't do anything monetarily wise for the shareholders. It does give the shareholders the satisfaction knowing they are probably going to all end up with prison time.
