Could it be that GE was already making "reagent" for their own propietary purposes but found Cytogenix quality a bit more than superior to that of another?
I find it very hard to believe that GE just dipped its toe into the water on this and that they have been working on things without Cytogenix for a while. The relationship may have been going on now for a bit longer than we think. Synthetic DNA was announced in late 2004. Do you think it took GE long to get wind of an exciting development that could potentially help them?
