I am wondering the same. Just take the case of all public schools that Chesterfield County Public School (CCPS) personifies: how many of the other 100 largest school systems that are struggling with the same problem as CCPS want to left behind and how many want to stay ahead of the curve? How about all the other small school systems of the country that still have to run Windows apps of various sorts on various devices of their choice?

Although CCPS had already standardized on Google Apps, it still uses Windows applications where necessary to support the curriculum, Photoshop in art classes and AutoCAD for teaching design and drafting being cases in point. Happily, the transition to Chromebooks will not mean that CCPS students have to abandon their “legacy” Windows applications.

One large school system like CCSP that adapts Glassware may easily represent an annual revenue of 1M for Sphere 3D (say min $20/yr per laptop on 50,000 laptops). If just 20% of the largest 100 school systems follow the example of CCPS and adapt Glassware, that's a recurring annual rev of min. 20M just for grade schools. How many such quiet deals do we have right now or soon?
