To all you chartists here...I am definitely not an expert at charting, not even close, I can read them and get a pretty good idea of what it means but only in the most basic sense.

To you guys that do know charting well I get a little confused when an argument arises over chart rading, I say this because I have seen a chart interpreted differently from two guys that both know what they are doing. Is it possible for two chartists to look at a chart and see different things?? Is one of you correct and the other completely off base??

IMO I think that a lot of this is open to individual inerpretation and opinion. I wouldn't say that if I had not seen so many instances on different boards where two or three or MANY guys look at a chart and view it slightly different. And then we get in to hourly charts, and 15 minute charts, and weekly charts and the interpretations get even more varied.

I like to think to of this as a collaborative effort and I appreciate all of your opinions and I don't see why one chartist should be so critical of another. I do not think it is an absolute science is it?? If it were, there would be one pat answer and we would never see varying opinions from people that are educated in chart reading.

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. "Sort of". It's just a filler. "Sort of" - It doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
