Does anyone think that the crisis in the Ukraine was simply a distraction for Russia to tie their hands for a bit? If you look back to Syria, Russia was taking a hard stance in support of the Assad government. We did our best to run with the chemical weapons story, but it wasn't enough and people started seeing through the lie.
Now, ISIS has stormed Iraq and essentially recruited new Sunni members. I foresee both Iraq and Syria falling. Russia is no longer available to protect Assad. Obama recently stated that they were considering air strikes in both Iraq and Syria. Why Syria? Folks, this is coming together as planned. There were a few hiccups along the way, but our government is still following through with the sinister plans laid out in the playbook. This was set in motion decades ago.
