I didn't know Office 365 was a cloud... Article on Shadow IT mentions it as cloud based software...

....The problem AppGuru is really solving, Purcell says, is that employees aren't just bringing two or three apps into the workplace with them on their personal device -- it's closer to 21 (which is pretty consistent with past studies). People chose these apps because they like them, so when they need to share or store documents, they go with the apps they know. That's good for getting stuff done, but not so great for data security and loss prevention.

"It's not done out of malice, it's done out of carelessness," Purcell says.

So when IT sees users are using Evernote, Google Docs, Office 365, or other cloud tools that you don't have a policy for, it creates a chance to have a conversation that you'd otherwise miss out on....

Seems like everyone clouding up computing, what's Yahoo clouding up? (That's what cloud software does Yahoo offer?)

Perhaps, buy LotusNotes rights from whoever bought it whenever, and QuatroPro spreadsheet and cloud it up...? Was in Computer Associates that had an O/S for PC's that got out placed by Microsoft? This is all cloudy to me, I'll try Googling it...
