I can't prove that the offer of 10% of the $80 million some anonymous person in Nigeria left as a legacy with no heirs if only I help them set up a bank account in the states is a scam, either. Doesn't mean I can't recognize a scam like that a mile away.
If NTEK was on the level, they'd have sent an NP-1 off to be tested by an independent lab a full year ago. That they didn't means they have something to hide, like crummy performance at low bitrates.
