Next week is better than the dreaded "soon", which is so open ended that it could mean anything from tomorrow or never.

But JR has perfected "next week" into a fine art of confusing the masses.
Once "next week" arrives, it'll become "this week", then he could tweet another delay but imply something big is coming "next week".
