Canadian Judges see things differently in their LAWs. Such as Ronald Thiessen got 5 million award plus interest for the damages against his reputation from postings on the internet. Eventually the USA moves over to findings as such in time. One of the things behind this is that the Northern nieghboring Judges can go by intent, at their call. If you get time check out the Queens Bench,England,Canada, regarding defamation. This would not be tolerated in CANADA, as it is not free speach in context.
