Nothing can be worst than the first BS patent CDEx was granted for what they wanted investors to believe was for a revolutionary XRF instrument. Remember the x-ray window they claimed allowed them to detect landmines using x-rays! ELF and the EM-1

The patent was titled System And Method For Adapting A Software Control In An Operating Environment.

That patent while being completely worthless as IP, was invaluable in saving all the scamsters culos, including Poteet.

The claims of the patent cleverly did not require the nature of how x-rays can excite and fluoresce the target molecules to even be considered. That's not what the patent was about, it was completely misleading IMO.

The "software control" could have just as well been describing a "death ray" or other irrelevant "operating "environment".

Once again, Poteet was an active participant in the whole XRF scam including the patent. He was fooled by no one.
