hey there... good race. heard something on a scanner that made me suspicious of some things. i definitely didn't like what i heard...which led to the mystery debris caution that none of us in the stands could figure out...oddly enough Logano and Harvick had checked out on the field.
attendance...all I can say is 'Hahahaha'. The section I sat in was near or less than 1/2 full. The view from the fence in turn 4 was pitiful. when we got to our seats in front of the pit road entrance the scene didn't improve.
Dad was happy. Had a good time with friends, but there were things that bothered us...and are/remain concerning. Overall...good time and to be with Dad and friends was the most important thing.
JJ won... not happy about it... something doesn't seem right with how the last 35-60 laps unfolded...refer to first comment. Oh.. on the scanner... many drivers not happy with Danica...numerous times..early in the race, 'why is she blocking while running 25th?' I don't remember who said it...but told his spotter to tell her spotter to have her knock it off before she caused a wreck. Funny part was within minutes Gordon caught her to lap her, gave up, and let Harvick go by to deal with her. She let Harvick pass her...then she blocked Gordon again! At that point Harvick checked out...Gordon caught him again, but there were some moments there where she ticked off quite a few drivers. I have a feeling Gordon was one them too.
