As for the inventory amount at any given point in time, I don't know exactly and I don't really care at all. My point was and IS that AIG and Fannie are different is the sense that FNMA has ongoing risks and potential costs in the housing market and the government's risk with AIG is over and done with.

Now, let me guess, you will want a link to prove some secret, unannounced deal with AIG doesn't exist (?).
