Questions for Stephen. I am a very bullish shareholder of American Green. But am very hesitate about the way they are conducting themselves. So I emailed Stephen on Friday and he got back to me within 2 hours.
The questions I asked him and the answer he replied back to goes as follows:
I am a current shareholder and am very worried about the progress of American Green. I fully understand the potential of both the Zazzz machine and the Jurassic, but if the Zazzz machine isn't getting used by customers and generating revenue I don't see how long dispensaries are going to wait for the Zazzz before they get tired of waiting. Same goes with the Jurassic on the waiting $1.7 deal. So I hope you can clarify a few things for me:
When is the absolute date that these Zazzz machines will start being in the dispensaries and for use to pay customers?
When will the Jurassic order be fulfilled?
How do you see 1000 Zazzz machines being in dispensaries by the end of the year? Is American Green just waiting for more machines to roll out?
Stephens reply:
The absolute date of the first machine is next Friday. The machine you may have seen in yesterday's video is repacked and shipping Monday. The other machines are following, and I have been told to expect one per day. The next one goes to Denver and the one after that to Tempe where we'll make it available to visitors to use, though it won't contain controlled substances.
The Jurassic units had a hold up that I mentioned related to size. That's fixed and the first ten begin shipping next week. It will be slow initially, but that's how the grow community works. You can't force it, but after demonstrating it and getting testimonials from other growers, acceptance leads to sales. It was actually 1.17mm if you look at the release (as often happens, one person gets it wrong and it goes from there) and we have been working hard to reduce the price to make it more compatible with small grows. In the end, we'll extend the reduction to our partners but sell more units. Bottom line is, it's underway. We have also found add'l uses. It is evolving well beyond what we originally thought.
ZaZZZ penetration will take on a life of its own in the next few weeks. I have had numerous inquiries who all want to see the first one working before they commit. Between FutureWorld and ourselves, I still see 1000 machines in a year from now as very doable. Questionable by Dec 31, but until we see the pick up next month, knowing where we'll be by 1/1/15 is hard to predict. The number we can do will not be hindered by production though.
We have a deal queue that other companies in the sector only dream of. I wish I could talk about them all but I can't. Just know that at 7pm on Friday, like every other day, I'm working as are the team. We are excited to be part of this (r)evolution and focused on delivering the business success that will provide the share price that we all want.
