you quote one biased writer as if they were the consensus

by now it is known that the TBTFBanks had the biggest hand in the collapse

the canard that F and F and the Gov were the main culprits has been pricked and the air it out

as in lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit

do you not see a correlation with the private banks entry and the growth of interest only mortgages and variations on the theme and the bubble?

how did things work just fine for 50 plus years - with all the horrors of F and F -- when it was just F and F

maybe it was the loss of market share by F and F to bullsheet give it away paper -- and thne F and F trying to catch up by losseining some standards for a brief time - or buying the TBTF paper (not because anyone told them to - but to gain the relatively higher interest on this soon to be junk paper)

egad - someone still arguing it was all the fault of F and F and the gov? and the TBTF banks did not have trillions at stake in invisible off the books SWAPS and bets on drivitives of derivitives of CDOs and CMOs ...
