WEST PALM BEACH, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 06/13/14 -- FastFunds Financial Corporation ("FastFunds" or the "Company") (OTCQB: FFFC) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cannabis Angel, Inc., a company involved in providing financing alternatives, corporate finance and general management consulting services to early-stage cannabis companies and projects, are pleased to announce the design completion of a new smartphone app dedicated exclusively to the marijuana community.
The Company is currently scheduling interviews with several mobile app developers that have expertise in iOS and Android mobile app development. The Company plans on finalizing and entering into an agreement with a team of developers within the next 30 days.
The Company's current design plans for the app are complete and include several interactive features that will be of interest to the cannabis grower community. The Company anticipates the development of the app to be completed within a 6 month timeframe and intends to have the app submitted to both the App Store and Google Play platforms. Once development of the app is complete, the Company plans on initiating an online marketing campaign to generate awareness to the new mobile app. The Company intends to market the mobile app under a "freemium" based model. The app itself wouldn't cost users anything to download, although additional premium features could be unlocked by paying a nominal fee. The Company plans on targeting the cannabis grower community with the development of this new app and anticipates recurring revenues to be generated through premium feature purchases and geographically targeted ad space and sponsorships within the app itself.
In addition, the Company would like to announce the online video interview broadcast of Mr. Rob Ryan, President of the Ohio Chapter of NORML.org on GreenEnergyMedia.TV's Cannabis Live. The interview consists of valuable information pertaining to both the recreational and medical marijuana industries, including Mr. Ryan's insights pertaining to legalization and decriminalization.
