In U.S., Most commonly, there is a wholesaler, (like a McKesson) between Pharmacy and manufacturer of drug.
There are situations where there is a direct link between manufacturer and ordering Pharmacy.
I am Not familiar with process in U.K. And will do homework and share.

The other factor that has major impact on channels of distribution and availability is the Pharmacy/ PBM (Pharmacy Benefits Manager) relationship.
However, I believe Vitaros will be a cash only product for quite sometime. If there is a product that a person will spend there own hard earned dollars, this is it. That is one reason I have invested in APRI.
Of note, for seniors in the US, "Medicare will no longer cover erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs like Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and Caverject."

We will really get traction with sales when Vitaros is added to a PBM formulary. That positive step can only (I believe) be accomplished with assistance from a big Pharma partner. For example, Cialis is only ED drug on some Blue Cross formularies.
