As long as this first plane generates the income to purchase planes in the future is all that matters. Ask any Russian who has flown to JFK from any city in Russia and ask them if they would care about reupholstered seats and a 16 hour trip, or an 8 hour trip and they will all tell you they'll take the 8 hour option any day. I know this to be true because when I tell them about Baltia's plan to offer 1 stop flights from JFK, not only do their faces light up in interest, they grab a pen and paper to write the information down so they don't forget. When the current plane gets scrapped and 747,767,777, or maybe 787's are flying back and forth... the color of the interior will be so pointless along with any posts on this thread that mention it.
