Imo we're witnessing what happens when a longtime minister tries to run a for-profit, public corporation.

As far as I can tell, CEO Troy Covey had >>no business experience prior to 2007<< when he joined APT. That's a total of just 6-1/2 years business experience according to his own LinkedIn bio. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/troy-covey/20/32/997
Prior to that he was a self-admitted prodigal son who eventually repented and became "senior pastor" of an evangelical ministry called Solomon's Porch.

Lack of business experience and judgment appears to be an ongoing issue with Covey. With APT his inexperience in managerial/ financial matters manifested itself --I believe-- by expanding too fast, racking up big debts that shut down production which forced him to get involved with dubious financiers, etc.

In 2005 his religious zeal resulted in (IMO) an episode of monumental bad judgment when he created an evangelical "hell house" (www.kcnightmare.com --link disabled). Under the guise of a Halloween haunted house attraction, unsuspecting teens were subjected to-- "scenes of a bloody abortion, a gang shooting in an urban alley, and a car crash involving drunken teenagers. In the finale, scary clowns led them to a room in which a gasping Christ died on the cross surrounded by images of the security tapes from Columbine High School and BTK [serial] killer Dennis Rader's mug shot." According to one person who survived the ordeal reported "After we extracted ourselves from a prayer service, another volunteer called after us. "We have a bag of treats for you!" Apparently we'd learned nothing from the last two hours, because we expected M&M's. He handed us sacks containing a New Testament, information about the International House of Prayer, and a CD titled 23 Minutes in Hell." All for the low low price of $10!!! When quizzed as to why he hadn't been up front about what the secret agenda of the project Covey replied with a bizarre explanation. Read about it all here-->

CEO Troy Covey's LinkedIn page contains language that reveals a thinly veiled evangelical/ ministerial mission for APT

The organization and its covenant partners believe passionately in improving the lives of it’s work family as well as communities in need around the world.

The vision is to utilize it’s core business to revitalize broken communities around the world. By duplicating its operation in countries lacking in resources and opportunity, APT can be used as a catalyst for job creation and commerce while having a profound positive affect on the environment and preserving natural resources.

The company’s people and partners believe that all things are possible to those who believe!

(Imo people who "believe" in FROZ are having their faith tested!)

Imo this all helps paint a more complete picture of APT's CEO. Limited business experience combined with an apparent belief that a supernatural being is fully in charge and will somehow bless and provide for every need of those that believe in him is --IMHO-- a potentially disastrous combination for a public company. Corporations must deal with REAL WORLD challenges... not the CEO's personal, spiritual beliefs.. and especially any delusional notions that serious issues will somehow be miraculously resolved. I hope this isn't the case but I've seen this type of mentality more than once in my life.
