Once one is built & producing electricity they may start popping up like mushrooms.

The technology is an attractive option. 24/7 / 365 is huge in the renewable energy sector. I'm pretty sure that hydroelectric & geothermal are the only competition that can match the potential hours of operation per year.

If Chile wants the equivalent of five hydroelectric dams I'm thinking that five towers is going to be the only true replacement.
