Dear Shareholders & Friends

Just a quick note to let you all know that we've begun work
on our seismic study which is meant to tell us more about the
potential for "cold-flow" production on our Cadotte project.
You can read more about it here...

Cold-flow production is essentially just conventional oil
production. There is no heat, steam or hot-water involved.

There are a few large producers in close proximity to our
project. They include Shell, Koch, Murphy Oil, Husky, and
Baytex. Several of them have wells which are cold-producing,
which is why we've begun looking at the potential for cold-flow
on our lease-block.

Of these companies, Baytex has impressed us the most with
their expertise at identifying and exploiting these pools. But
the pools are difficult to identify without seismic data. That's
why we've commenced this seismic study. Could Strata Oil's
Cadotte project have the potential to produce heavy-oil without
thermal treatment? It's too early to tell, but the seismic study
will help.

And one more thing --- several of our shareholders have
asked us if they can purchase shares in Strata Oil directly
from the company (through a private placement) and hold
them in their self-directed IRA. The answer is "Yes" and if
you'd like to learn precisely how to do it, learn more here.

Thanks for being a shareholder of Strata Oil. Your patience and
loyalty is really valued by all of us here, and we're so happy to
have you onboard.

We'll have more to report shortly.

Kind Regards,

Trevor Newton
Chairman of the Board, Strata Oil
