Your comment surprises me. They can only buy 25% of a day's volume. If there is no volume, there aren't many shares that they can buy. Had the SEC not halted trading in those other two companies, I doubt we would be having this conversation today and the price would probably be considerably higher. I think they were probably being too cute by half when they released their PR after hours. I'm sure they thought doing that would keep the share price from spiking allowing them to get cheaper shares. If they released buyback volume, it may help the share price, but we will probably be waiting until June for any real movement.
