A pretty good summation of the posting policy here with a small exception. What you say above isn't entirely true.

If a poster were to continually post comments about the company or management that were nothing more than a smear campaign they would be deleted. By the same token senseless posts that are nothing more than hype and/or advertising would be deleted as well.

Obviously these types of posts need to be clearly over the line before they would be subject to deletion. As long as there is some point for discussion that accompanies an overly negative or positive post more tolerance will be given.
