The most obvious explanation is that the lubbock oil patch investors were fed a big line of BS! Remember, CDEx was a desperate little company on the verge of complete liquidation. They had to come up with a whopper! That is probably the reason why Bumfield told the story about all the wonderful things that the "magical" iG4 could do when he first introduced the concept in a PR. He was baiting the new investment trap.

Of course, once CDEx comitted themselves to such a fairytale, they had to keep on laying down the BS heavier and thicker to keep the story moving forward. Eventually, they had to start downgrading the capabilities of the iG4, but only after investors had taken the bait.

Just to illustrate how this is the Loch/CDEx MO, revisit a past CDEx propectus (no doubt crafted by MP) which forecasted 50 million dollars in sales within just a few years. That's huevos grande!

My guess is some investors smelled a rat and have pulled out from any further investment (the smart ones), while others have questioned the whereabouts of the magical iG4. This has forced CDEx to supply reasons for the delays, or as some might put it, they have had to tell new lies to cover their old lies.

So to answer your querey, IMO there are still some investors out there that are either dumb, naive or just have more money then common sense that just haven't figured it out yet and continue to invest based on pure BS.

Excuse me Crow, I could have made it short and sweet and said, "They're good BSers and there's still easy money out there!"
