Don't see what the big deal is on bribes> Anyone ever having done business around the world, including biggggggg companies is almost always involved with them. Any body dealing with Mexico for instance, knows full well.
I think this is an effort to bash and I smell $ gains if it worked for someone, perhaps Chev. isn't beyond leaking some mis-information, or mis-emphasizing this in hopes of a big $ gain.
Or the country itself is looking to make $ off it through going to a higher bidder.
As RR said the fish rot starts at the head(something like that)
