I read about them few years ago, didn't know they had stocks.
Now the thing is from what I remember, the dots make it possible to not loosen one electron per lightwave but more.
But you still have the problem of the semiconducting material not absorbing all the light. There's still a big part of lightwaves to be reflected on the surface, the 3d structure is still usable to boost efficiency more!
And then you still have other possibilities to be explored too, one is infrared light and uv light, both a percentage of the spectrum not used today... That's why there is a theorethical max efficiency at the moment that is not 100%.
There's still much work on solar panels, 1000watt/m² is the gloabal average max efficiency, getting half of that would be great!
Still the quantum dot problem is now that the extra loosened electrons stay mostly in the dots themselves, they need to add materials next to the dots to make more contact & thats their challenge at the moment. Could take some more years to reach their full goals.
At the moment I'm very good here, bought my shares here in the penny range so I don't really care.
And I do see the price going to back where it came from, being at 5usd.
It's very possible with some good revenue and more acquisitions.
