And do you think that the idea is a bad one?

"Bad" doesn't even begin to describe it. "Ridiculous" gets us closer.

We've got a company that has lost millions in the last 16 years and has zero bankable goodwill or real intangible value until we find a partner with $ to take the reins.

Assuming the incredible, that we actually find a monied partner, the initial mapping/drilling/exploration stage is likely going to take a couple of years IF things go well and there are no "new" obstacles. The new partner is not going to dump millions into our bank account prior to proving the property, you can count on that. And even if the partner did, JJ and Greg would surely find a way to grab much of the cash "for past expenses" and god knows what else.

Real production from an actual mining operation could be 3 to 5 years out, or even longer. Until that happens, there is nothing to dividend. And PLEASE, don't mention the LDM. We'd need 10 LDMs to have any meaningful level of production.

Weren't you around for the equally ridiculous and utterly meaningless "stock dividend"? Remember how the clown college screwed that up? I wasted countless hours with UBS and Scottrade trying to get my shares and finally gave up. Magically one day they were unrestricted and tradable, and I was back up to 100% of my investment. Seriously, if that is not amateur hour at its best, I don't know what is.

And we're to believe JJ and company has the minds and means to commission a mint to manufacture commemorative coins and a distribution network capable of ensuring that stockholders owning a billion shares are properly dividended? And we're going to this incredible effort and expense because a freaking dentist has a fetish about naked short selling? Really?

Is there anything wrong with starting a conversation on the topic of crushing the shorts?

Folks can talk about whatever they care to on public forums. If this talk involves something I am invested in, and it is patently ignorant, I'm going to comment.

No offense to you in any case, Paddy, as I know you're not the one indulging in these childish fantasies. Let's see if Medinah can actually execute a business plan for the first time in its history and make money. If we do that, everything else, including the mysterious shorts, will take care of itself.
