Curiously, you share the same lack of knowledge that my broker
has of how a securities transaction is supposed to work. The concept that one book entry has to match up with one company share in T+3 seems as alien to you as it is to my broker. Whether they take DTC seriously or not, is how they determine as whether a trade is good or not? That's weird stuff.
