And she will keep breaking her promises as long as the trial keeps getting delayed because everything this company has going for hinges solely on the success of this trial. A positive outcome means easier line of credit (even if she doesn't collect on the judgement initially), more capital to invest in the business (hire more staff, open up more clinics, do more marketing/advertising, etc.), and yes, even reward the shareholders with their bonus/incentive dividends, and/or do a share buyback, etc, etc. or she could, since she is fast approaching retirement age, simply call it quits, and file for (company, not personal) bankruptcy in which the preferred shareholders (namely her) windup with all the assets, and the common shareholders get nothing.
