I have had some loans default. That's just the name of the game in lending. about 3% with currency loss of .22%, not too bad. I have loaned in 63 countries and some of the defaults were related to world events (Thailand and Philippines typhoons for example).
They are all interest free loans and when the money is paid back you can re-loan or withdraw. While I have deposited $2325 over the past 3 years, I have continued to re-loan the re-payments so I have loaned a total of $8700.
