On the serious side...has anyone read ASD's patent infringement suit all the way through that might understand it? It seems to me that they dotted every (i) and crossed every (T).

Which brings me to the question, can they legally make their patent that broad-based and get away with it? The basis for their technology has been around for a while so how can they claim so much?

I got a better insight after having an in-depth conversation with someone more knowledgeable than myself today and I still don't know which way to lean.

As far as I could understand it, they really wasn't very specific on exactly what part of their patent CDEX is supposedly infringing upon.

Pookie keeps saying we filed for our patent first and it looks like we did but that patent was for x-ray, not UV or NIR. Those type patent applications of ours are still under review. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Might have gotten too much information today for my brain to process all at once.

Next question, does anyone think ASD's patent attorney/'s would have notified the patent examiner about any conflict there might be in the patent's we have under review? If so, and they find a conflict, how long before CDEX is notified and how long before CDEX has to make it public? Also, is there a way to find out if CDEX's patent's get denied without having to wait for the company to divulge it?
TIA
